The close proximity of the competition venue, downtown hotels and the Competitors’ Village ensures WorldSkills participants can get where they’re going, quickly and safely. The competitors will have just a 15-minute LRT (Light Rail Transit) train ride from the Competitors’ Village to the competition venue at Stampede Park. Delegates, judges, experts and all other participants will have just a five-minute walk from downtown hotels, or a short ride on the LRT train system.
Approximate commuting time in minutes:

  • Airport to Downtown Core/Hotels: 15 - 30 minutes
  • Airport to Competitors' Village: 15 - 30 minutes
  • Competitors' Village to Stampede Park/Competition Venue: 15 minutes
  • Downtown Core/Hotels to Stampede Park/Competition Venue: 10 minutes
